🇮🇳 தமிழ்நாடு நடப்பு நிகழ்வுகள் – ஆகஸ்ட் 2026

அரசு & அரசியல்

• தமிழ்நாடு பட்ஜெட் 2026–27: கல்வி, இளைஞர் நலன், பெண்கள் நலன், உள்கட்டமைப்பு, செயற்கை நுண்ணறிவு மற்றும் பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சிக்கு முக்கியத்துவம் அளிக்கப்பட்டது.
• பொருளாதார இலக்கு: தமிழ்நாட்டை 1.5 டிரில்லியன் அமெரிக்க டாலர் பொருளாதாரமாக மாற்ற இலக்கு நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• மாநில சொந்த வரி வருவாய்: 2026–27ஆம் ஆண்டில் தமிழ்நாட்டின் மாநில சொந்த வரி வருவாய் 9.78% வளர்ச்சி அடையும் என மதிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• தமிழ்நாட்டின் கடன்: 2026–27 பட்ஜெட்டின்படி மாநிலத்தின் நிலுவைக் கடன் சுமார் ₹10.99 லட்சம் கோடி என மதிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• தென் மண்டல கவுன்சில்: 31வது தென் மண்டல கவுன்சில் கூட்டம் தமிழ்நாட்டில் நடைபெற்றது; மாநிலங்களுக்கு இடையேயான நீர்ப்பங்கீடு, கல்வி மற்றும் சட்டம்–ஒழுங்கு உள்ளிட்ட பிரச்சினைகள் விவாதிக்கப்பட்டன.
• PSTM இடஒதுக்கீடு: தமிழ்வழியில் படித்தவர்களுக்கான 20% PSTM இடஒதுக்கீட்டின் கீழ் நியமிக்கப்பட்ட அரசு ஊழியர்களின் பணியைப் பாதுகாக்க தமிழ்நாடு சட்டத் திருத்தம் செய்தது.

பொருளாதாரம் & உள்கட்டமைப்பு

• பரந்தூர் விமான நிலையத் திட்டம்: விவசாய நிலம் மற்றும் விவசாயிகளின் வாழ்வாதாரம் தொடர்பான கவலைகளைத் தொடர்ந்து பரந்தூர் பசுமை விமான நிலையத் திட்டம் கைவிடப்பட்டது; மாற்று இடம் தேடும் பணி தொடங்கப்பட்டது.
• சென்னை விமான நிலையம்: தற்போதைய சென்னை விமான நிலையத்தை விரிவுபடுத்தவும், புதிய சர்வதேச விமான நிலையத்திற்கான மாற்று இடத்தைத் தேடவும் அரசு திட்டமிட்டுள்ளது.
• விமான நிலைய பயணிகள் திறன்: சென்னை விமான நிலையத்தின் ஆண்டு பயணிகள் கையாளும் திறனை சுமார் 3 கோடியிலிருந்து 5.5 கோடியாக உயர்த்த திட்டமிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• முதலீட்டு ஒப்பந்தங்கள்: ஆகஸ்ட் மாதத்தில் தமிழ்நாடு சுமார் 100 முதலீட்டு ஒப்பந்தங்களை, மொத்தம் ₹67,452 கோடி மதிப்பில் மேற்கொண்டுள்ளது.
• தொழில் பூங்காக்கள்: புதிய தொழில் பூங்காக்களை உருவாக்க சுமார் 14,840 ஏக்கர் நிலம், 30 இடங்களில் அடையாளம் காணப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• MSME திட்ட தேடல் செயலி: குறு, சிறு மற்றும் நடுத்தர தொழில் நிறுவனங்கள் அரசுத் திட்டங்களை எளிதாகத் தேடுவதற்காக MSS App – MSMEs Schemes Search App அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்டது.

கல்வி & வேலைவாய்ப்பு

• ஆசிரியர் பணியிடங்கள்: அரசு கலை மற்றும் அறிவியல் கல்லூரிகள், பொறியியல் கல்லூரிகள் மற்றும் பாலிடெக்னிக் கல்லூரிகளில் சுமார் 6,000 உதவிப் பேராசிரியர்கள் நியமிக்கப்பட உள்ளனர்.
• TNPSC தொழில்நுட்பத் தேர்வு: TNPSC சார்பில் 839 காலிப்பணியிடங்களுக்கான ஒருங்கிணைந்த தொழில்நுட்பத் தேர்வு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது.
• பள்ளிக் கல்வி: 2026–27ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான பட்ஜெட்டில் பள்ளிக் கல்விக்காக ₹44,527 கோடி ஒதுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• இலவச மடிக்கணினி: மாணவர்களுக்கு இலவச மடிக்கணினி வழங்கும் திட்டத்திற்காக ₹2,000 கோடி ஒதுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• பள்ளிகளில் விளையாட்டு: அரசு பள்ளிகளில் வழக்கமான வகுப்புகளுக்குப் பிறகு தினமும் ஒரு மணி நேரம் விளையாட்டு/உடற்பயிற்சி வழங்கும் திட்டம் முன்மொழியப்பட்டுள்ளது.

நலத்திட்டங்கள்

• இலவச LPG திட்டம்: தகுதியான குடும்பங்களுக்கு இலவச LPG சிலிண்டர்கள் வழங்கும் திட்டம் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• LPG பயனாளிகள்: இந்தத் திட்டம் சுமார் 1.34 கோடி குடும்பங்களை உள்ளடக்கும் என அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• பெண்களுக்கு இலவச பேருந்து பயணம்: பெண்களுக்கான இலவச பேருந்து பயணத் திட்டம் விரிவுபடுத்தப்படும் என அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• மின்சார பேருந்துகள்: சென்னை மற்றும் பிற பகுதிகளுக்காக 250 புதிய பேருந்துகள், இதில் 130 மின்சார AC பேருந்துகள், அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்டன.
• விளையாட்டு & இளைஞர் நலன்: 2026–27 பட்ஜெட்டில் விளையாட்டு மற்றும் இளைஞர் நலனுக்காக ₹1,051 கோடி ஒதுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது; 10 Special Olympics மையங்கள் அமைக்கவும் திட்டமிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.

நீதிமன்றம் & சட்டம்

• மேகமலை வனப்பகுதி: மேகமலை பாதுகாக்கப்பட்ட வனப்பகுதியில் உள்ள ஆக்கிரமிப்புகளை அகற்ற தமிழ்நாடு அரசுக்கு உச்சநீதிமன்றம் உத்தரவிட்டது.
• கரூர் கூட்ட நெரிசல் சம்பவம்: கரூர் சம்பவத்தில் உயிரிழந்தவர்களின் தகுதியான குடும்ப உறுப்பினர்களுக்கு அரசுப் பணி வழங்கும் நடவடிக்கைக்கு உச்சநீதிமன்றம் வழிவகுத்தது.
• இடைத்தேர்தல்: திருச்சி கிழக்கு, கரூர், விராலிமலை, பெருந்துறை மற்றும் அம்பாசமுத்திரம் ஆகிய 5 தொகுதிகளில் இடைத்தேர்தல் அறிவிப்புக்கு விதிக்கப்பட்ட தடையை சென்னை உயர்நீதிமன்றம் செப்டம்பர் 8 வரை நீட்டித்தது.
• மனித உரிமைகள் ஆணையம்: ஓய்வுபெற்ற சென்னை உயர்நீதிமன்ற நீதிபதி நீதிபதி ஆர்.என். மஞ்சுளா மற்றும் ஓய்வுபெற்ற IAS அதிகாரி ஏ. சுகந்தி ஆகியோர் தமிழ்நாடு மாநில மனித உரிமைகள் ஆணைய உறுப்பினர்களாக நியமிக்கப்பட்டனர்.

நீர் & சுற்றுச்சூழல்

• காவிரி நீர் பிரச்சினை: காவிரி நீர் மேலாண்மை ஆணையம், கர்நாடகா தமிழ்நாட்டிற்கு 15 நாட்களுக்கு தினமும் 9,000 கனஅடி நீர் திறக்க வேண்டும் என்ற பரிந்துரையை உறுதி செய்தது.
• மேகேதாட்டு திட்டம்: கர்நாடகாவின் மேகேதாட்டு அணைத் திட்டம் தொடர்ந்து தமிழ்நாடு–கர்நாடகா இடையேயான முக்கிய நீர்ப்பங்கீட்டு பிரச்சினையாக உள்ளது.

Government & Politics

• Tamil Nadu Budget 2026–27: Priority given to education, youth welfare, women’s welfare, infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and economic growth.
• Economic target: A target has been set to grow Tamil Nadu into a $1.5 trillion economy.
• State’s own tax revenue: Tamil Nadu’s own tax revenue is estimated to grow by 9.78% in 2026–27.
• Tamil Nadu’s debt: As per the 2026–27 budget, the state’s outstanding debt is estimated at around ₹10.99 lakh crore.
• Southern Zonal Council: The 31st Southern Zonal Council meeting was held in Tamil Nadu; inter-state water sharing, education, and law-and-order issues were discussed.
• PSTM reservation: Tamil Nadu amended legislation to protect the jobs of government employees appointed under the 20% PSTM (Tamil-medium) reservation quota.

Economy & Infrastructure

• Parandur airport project: The Parandur greenfield airport project was dropped following continued concerns over agricultural land and farmers’ livelihoods; the search for an alternative site has begun.
• Chennai airport: The government plans to expand the existing Chennai airport and search for an alternative site for a new international airport.
• Airport passenger capacity: Chennai airport’s annual passenger handling capacity is planned to be raised from around 3 crore to 5.5 crore.

• Industrial parks: About 14,840 acres of land across 30 locations have been identified for new industrial parks.

Education & Employment

• Teaching posts: Around 6,000 assistant professors are set to be appointed in government arts and science colleges, engineering colleges, and polytechnic colleges.
• TNPSC technical exam: TNPSC announced a combined technical examination for 839 vacant posts.

• Megamalai forest area: The Supreme Court directed the Tamil Nadu government to remove encroachments in the Megamalai protected forest area.
• Karur stampede incident: The Supreme Court paved the way for providing government jobs to eligible family members of those who died in the Karur incident.
• By-elections: The Madras High Court extended, until September 8, the stay on announcing by-elections for 5 constituencies — Tiruchi East, Karur, Viralimalai, Perundurai, and Ambasamudram.
• Human Rights Commission: Retired Madras High Court judge Justice R.N. Manjula and retired IAS officer A. Sugandhi were appointed as members of the Tamil Nadu State Human Rights Commission.

Water & Environment

• Cauvery water issue: The Cauvery Water Management Authority upheld the recommendation that Karnataka release 9,000 cusecs of water daily to Tamil Nadu for 15 days.
• Mekedatu project: Karnataka’s Mekedatu dam project continues to be a key water-sharing dispute between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
• Cauvery water shortage: Issues concerning water storage at the Mettur dam and Cauvery water release remain critical for delta agriculture and drinking water needs.

Industry & Business

• Tamil Nadu’s manufacturing sector: Tamil Nadu continues to be one of India’s key manufacturing hubs; the state’s share in the country’s industrial output and manufacturing employment is significant.
